Calibration and Repair Technician
Status: Full-time
Education Level: 2 year degree in electronics/PMEL training or metrology experience a plus
Relevant Work Experience: 3-5 years Metrology Experience a plus
Salary: Commensurate with experience plus a generous benefit package |
Responsibilities:
- Calibrate, test and repair test and measuring equipment (T&ME)
- Perform traceable calibration using appropriate standards; make precision
adjustment and/or compile calibration data to ensure appropriate transfer
of accuracies from standards to unit under test and establish
- Identify and repair malfunctions and restore to proper operating condition
- Candidate must possess a solid background in troubleshooting

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience performing electronic test equipment
for repair and calibration
- Travel within the Tri-State area
|
Essential:
- Knowledge and experience in theoretical and practical application
of electronics.
- Knowledge and ability to apply metrological concepts using laboratory
standards.
- Must be able to interpret and apply manufacturer's calibration specifications
and procedures.
- Must possess practical experience in repair/calibration of T&ME.
- Must have in-depth knowledge of electronic concepts and schematic interpretations.

Mechanical Technician
Status: Full-time
Education Level: ASQ-CCT a plus
Relevant Work Experience: 3-5 years Metrology Experience a plus

Responsibilities:
- Calibration and repair of:
- Dimensional (Gage Blocks, Threads, Pins, Rings, Angle Plates)
- Torque (Drivers, Watches & Wrenches)
- Mass (Weights, Scales & Balances)
- Force (Load Cells, Tension, Compression)
- Surface Plate & Hardness Testers
- Pressure/Vacuum Gages
- Perform traceable calibration using appropriate standards; make precision
adjustment and/or compile calibration data to ensure appropriate transfer
of accuracies from standards to unit under test and establish
- Identify and repair malfunctions and restore to proper operating condition
- Candidate must possess a solid background in troubleshooting
